This weekend I participated in a "painting a day" workshop with Carol Marine
It was a lot of fun with a great group of folks and neat to finally meet Carol, after looking at her work grow over the last couple of years. Here are the paintings I did during the workshop. There is only one that I like as a painting (the first one). The others are simply exercises.
I look forward to getting back to painting every day when I get home.
This one with the orange was the final painting I did. The composition ruins it, but I like the little cup anyway.
This last one was an exercise for which we made deliberate strokes, each time mixing a new color.

Very nice.......and expressive.
So nice to see the palette opening up to brighter more light, vibrant and inviting colors. I like the Limes especially.
Thanks for posting and sharing......
Great paintings, the purple vase is my favorite although all are fantastic!
I like the top one especially. You have a great feel for paint.
You are so lucky to take a class with Carol! Sounds like you had fun. Nice work, too.
I love the blue teapot one!The workshop was great. I am still digesting parts of it, as I will for a long time.
Nice work here, Honor.
