I'm going to Florida tomorrow to see family, and I made some photographs today that I guess are about this trip. Spring is starting here and I look forward to getting my garden started when I get home...
Well, it's been so long since I've posted I almost forgot how. Sorry - construction and plumbing problems and working out of town got the better of me, but today I was getting some art stuff ready for a workshop I'm attending next weekend, and as I mixed the medium I'll be using, something neat happened. These photos show you what inspired me about the medium I was mixing in the ball jar. The bottom photo shows you the subject of this portrait. (These are simple, straight photographs)

very nice, and reaffirms -- for me anyway -- the notion that inspiration, and creativity can spring from the most unexpected of places, and sometimes all that is required of us is to pay attention.......and also to get out of the way, and welcome that which is waiting to become.
Those are beautiful! INTERESTING. I looked at the first one for a while trying to imagine what it could be. Yay Honor!
Beautiful photos, they look so similar to your paintings, layered colors, flowing freely, blending but with boundaries and lots of contrast. Have a safe trip and enjoy the workshop..
