I was up way before dawn this morning. As I was listening to some music on my computer (Smetana's Vltava and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia, to see why they confuse me so) and I heard the melodious song of the wood thrush, well before light. Ah, the pre-dawn chorus... I took a video, which doesn't look like much, but gives you an idea of what normally wakes me up. I'll see if I can put it on here. Beautiful, the bubbles had me riveted for more than a few seconds. How did they form?
Thank you Clarity. I have a small pump/fountain in my pond, and sometimes it pushes water out at the bottom, instead of going up the pipe (where it's supposed to go). This sends bubbles across the surface to the edge of the pond. I made this pond a few years ago and am amazed at how much pleasure it has brought me. Sometimes the hummingbirds have played in the fountain and bathed there....
