Therapeutic Massage and Body Work

Check out my WEBSITE, if you're interested in massage.

When I'm not out photographing the elements of Nature or whatever beauty is catching my spirit, I am in the office working with clients on whatever needs transforming. I truly love the work that I am privileged to do, and am graced to meet wonderful, inspiring folks along the way. I learn so much from each client, and the work is deeply engaging and fulfilling. I am so grateful to live and work in a place where I am surrounded by authentic beauty that is also reflected in those who are lucky enough to spend time here.

Gratitude

Thank you for visiting my blog. I share here what I see and feel in the world that resonates for me, in the interest of the beauty way, and for healing. It is my hope that my images bring peace and invite authentic ways of seeing. If what I share here has touched you in some way and you feel moved to express gratitude with a donation, I can assure you it will be appreciated and translated in some way into beauty and healing. Always paying it forward...

JUNE 9, Opening at NOBLE Wine Cellar in Clayton, GA - Recent Photographs

April 2016 Photography Exhibit at Rabun County Public Library, Clayton, GA

Listen for me on Georgia Public Radio:
"Community Life in Northeast Georgia," WPPR - 88.3 FM - Georgia Public Broadcasting. Fellow local artist and poet, Laurence Holden is also on this segment of the show, talking and reading some wonderful poems - what a treat! (listen here)

My book, Dreams and Distillations, is now available for preview and purchase on Blurb.com!

Published in France!
I recently enjoyed collaborating with poet and author (among other things) Thomas Rain Crowe on a small broadside published by Les Aretes Editions in France. I used some of my new photographic works as a backdrop for Thomas' poem, "May It Continue," which is a call to acknowledge many fragile elements of our world and is a plea to their continued existence. Sandrine at Les Aretes Editions made a fine broadside, complete with outer covering. Take a look at her blog.

A.I.R. Studio Residency

I was the Spring artist in residence at A.I.R Studio in Paducah, KY in 2010. It's a wonderful place to spend some rich creative time, deep in the land of Mississipian Mound cultures and in the midst of a rich arts community. Check it out here!

What Joe says about sitting for a portrait...

"The portrait business is totally different on all levels from having one's picture recorded on a digital camera. It requires engagement between subject and artist -- an art that Woodard definitely possesses. She has an unusual ability to capture ones mood."

Cowee Gothic, March 9, 2008

Brent, on Cowee Gothic:

"It's an interesting experience having someone stare at you and study your body parts while being expected to sit quietly staring at something that you are told to stare at. I'm sure glad Honor is fun to be with. It was a great experience and it was wonderful to see Honor's ability to interpret us so accurately and interestingly. I also learned many new ways to use four letter words and gained alot of weight from drinking red wine and eating while she painted. Cowee Gothic is something we will always treasure."
