Afternoon Light...

I was at the studio yesterday, and when I went down to use the bathroom I noticed the combination of the late afternoon light and the old, weathered, painted door of the bathroom. There was just something rich about it. Something in the texture of the paint, the old hardware, I don't know...

    and you know there is something so common yet mysterious and metaphorical about doors and door knobs.......I wonder is the door opening or closing? Or just somewhere in the middle, slightly ajar?

    Great photos Honor, the first one is very special with the different contrasts of light and colors. And a close examination of 2 & 3, looking at the screws is a tell-tale sign of how often the knob was taken off to paint the door. Great photos!
